Challenge
Amnesty needed to inspire high-value donors by showing that their frontline work was not only vital, but effective. They needed a storytelling format that could showcase global reach, demonstrate tangible outcomes, and be produced largely remotely on a tight budget.

Approach
Our answer was a flexible, emotionally driven series of short films that combined unscripted interviews, archive footage, motion graphics, and clear data. We mined compelling stories from across Amnesty’s work, selecting moments that served as metaphors for broader impact. By anchoring each film in real voices and validating them with evidence, we created a narrative bridge between donor support and long-term change, underscoring how sustained funding enables deeper, more strategic human rights work.

These films helped make the invisible visible. They became a core part of Amnesty’s donor outreach, raising over £2M each year by connecting supporters directly to the people and stories behind the work. Through the voices of frontline investigators, they gained an honest, behind-the-scenes view of how change happens, and why long-term support makes all the difference.
